Antique Victorian Silver Fish Locket Pendant Circa 1880 BloodstoneA wonderful, rectangular Silver Antique locket from the late Victorian era (Circa 1880). The front depicts a detailed image of a trout among reeds and is highlighted in a subtle Yellow Gold along with the frame and bale. It opens to reveal two well preserved photographs kept safe behind glass windows of a mother and her daughter when they were both young girls. This is accompanied by a sweet inscription on the back which reads: Mother and Millicent,

with blue silk backing that would have traditionally held a lock of hair belonging to a deceased loved one so that a piece of them was always kept close to the wearer’s heart

one adorned with a trilogy of sky-blue turquoise petals
