Each box is made of solid hardwood (walnut, oak or cherry) with 3 8 walls and finished with a clear, satin lacquer finish. Screw mounted hinges. Boxes are square cut; storage for 300 standard 3x5 cards is nearly 25% more than plastic or metal boxes.
