These creatures are endemic to New Zealand and endangered. They have an interesting and unique life cycle. Longfin Tuna are elegantly beautiful but also have a primordial creepiness. I have attempted to capture the essence of this dark beauty

and a rewarding connection of Maori knowledge to contemporary thinking about personal happiness and fulfilment

What goes into the kiln is not necessarily what comes out but it is always exciting to open it and see what has happened and then to build on that
