Strontianite, Calcite: Pennsylvania mohave turquoiseAcicular (spikey), white balls of strontianite on gemmy calcite, from Pennsylvania. The original card states McKellsville, which is on the border of Northumberland and Snyder counties, home to the massive Meckley's Quarry (no longer open to collecting) in Mandata and the National Limestone Quarry in Mount Pleasant Mills. Very aesthetically pleasing specimen and the strontianite fluoresces and phosphoreces. Ex Mike Davis Collection (field collector).

Very striking black tourmaline (schorl) specimen with “Benz” termination

There is a scattering of light green in one area and my unsubstantiated belief is that the green is either newly formed blue- or this was cut from an area of the mine next to green fluorite

maybe markings from the mining process

UV reaction is more pronounced in the paler areas
