This is one of several character design Perkins completed prior to starting work on the 1st issue of the series

Bill Sienkiewicz pencilled and inked this piece sometime circa 1983 to 1985

Another nice thing is that the pages haven't been trimmed

Swamp Thing walks through flames after soldiers fired incendiaries at him

almost as if as a bolt from the blue and hiding in plain sight
