Victorian Brass & Stained Glass Hall Lantern, c.1890 LightingA very attractive Victorian brass and leaded stained glass hall lantern, c. 1890. The lantern is four sided with all sides boasting an identical stained glass design. The glass is wonderfully original with with visible bubbles and waves throughout. One of the clear panels to one side has a small crack (please see photographs) but this is not particularly obvious from a distance and does not detract from the piece. housed in a gilt gesso frame with a brown felt surround

but 'HW' is just visible using a jeweller's loupe

the sauce boat remains in an excellent with clear hallmarks

The work is housed in a period gilt frame which has some nibbles to the extremities but generally remains in a good condition
